Courtyard by Marriott’s opening ceremony was held in July 2015, and was attended by both renowned guests and dear friends who had supported the project from its beginnings. With multiple conference centres, this hotel is undoubtedly one of the most convenient and stylish places in which to host events in Sarajevo.

The hotel’s Bolero conference room is located on the top floor of the building and is a unique meetings venue in the city. With its many possible configurations, floor-to-ceiling windows, audio-visual equipment and unbeatable panoramic views, the space is perfect for board meetings and private events, ranging from seated dinners and cocktail receptions to media showcases and fashion presentations. Natural lighting and a riverside view will brighten any corporate experience by creating an open and relaxing environment.

To the sky
One of the hotel’s greatest features is undeniably the rooftop Sky Bar. This bar concept was not part of the initial hotel design; the decision to utilise the rooftop in order to offer something a little special was made roughly halfway through the project. The city centre is packed with bars, restaurants and shopping malls, but none boast the same breathtaking city views as provided by our Sky Bar.

The Sky Bar was launched in August 2016 to coincide with the opening of Sarajevo Film Festival. The intention was to keep the Sky Bar operating during the summer period only. However, due to a successful season and very high demand, we decided to create a space that could provide service for at least 11 months of the year. It took significant investment and lots of joint effort with developers, but we have successfully reshaped the Sky Bar and turned it into a one-of-a-kind location in the city centre.

What’s more, the Sky Bar is open for anyone, not just hotel guests. As a matter of fact, it was demand and feedback from our outside visitors that triggered this investment and made us start thinking of taking the concept in a different direction. Today, the Sky Bar complements the wealth of amenities available at the hotel.

Those planning conferences can make use of our dedicated events team, catering services and modern technology. In addition, free Wi-Fi is offered throughout the hotel. The small business centre offers computers and printing and copying services, while the Sky Bar is popular for mingling with colleagues after work. The real highlight, however, is the hotel’s spacious rooms, which are complete with flat-screen TVs, plush beds, elegant furnishings and gorgeous, spacious bathrooms.
